The Andrzej Hulanicki Award was established to distinguish and reward young researchers employed at the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Wrocław for their scientific, teaching, and organizational achievements. It commemorates Professor Andrzej Hulanicki, an outstanding mathematician of the University of Wrocław, a full member of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the founder of the Wrocław school of harmonic analysis.
