With great pleasure, we announce the establishment of a new award for young mathematicians working at the Mathematical Institute of the University of Wrocław, sponsored by Professor Andrzej Hulanicki – an outstanding mathematician, an excellent educator, and a remarkable organizer. The award is intended for those who, like Professor Hulanicki, successfully combine all three of these types of activity.
Candidates eligible for the award must be under 40 years of age in the year the award is granted. Details can be found in the Award Regulations.
The first edition of the Award will be announced soon. We encourage all employees of the Mathematical Institute of the University of Wrocław who meet the eligibility criteria to submit their applications. At the same time, we invite anyone who would like to support the Andrzej Hulanicki Award Fund to donate any amount to the dedicated subaccount.
